Synopsis

When Elizabeth Ann Kelly, an Episcopalian priest, is violently confronted by a stranger on the street, she has no inkling that she will soon meet her assailant, businesswoman Nicole Isabel Thera, under very different circumstances. Nicole holds a unique philosophy of life, a far cry from Beth's devout Christian beliefs. In spite of this and their tempestuous beginnings, the women are drawn to one another. Each has a dark history to surmount as they travel on their respective journeys, braving trials that will test them both and cast their relationship into the crucible. To share their lives, Beth and Nicole will have to overcome formidable obstacles, including the greatest obstacle of all . . . themselves.
