Unless you enjoy old-time radio dramas, you'll probably find this version of Jane Eyre intolerable. Conceptually, there's something appealing about the male dialog being spoken by men and the female dialog being spoken by women; but in this rendition, the voices are so melodramatic that I was unable to listen to more than 15 mins. before putting the CDs back in the envelope and sending them back. I highly recommend instead the unabridged version of Jane Eyre by Brilliance Audio.
