Synopsis

Spy Tara Chace gives a butt-kicking twist to the phrase "working mother" in this action-packed follow-up to A GENTLEMAN’S GAME. Tara leaves the Secret Intelligence Service after she realizes that she’s pregnant by fellow agent Tom Wallace, who died during their last mission together. But restless Tara returns to the SIS when her daughter Tamsin is a year old, to preserve the life of Britain’s choice for the next leader of Uzbekistan, an assignment which unfortunately goes sour almost from the outset.
