Synopsis

Conservative pundit, and sometimes candidate for high office, Patrick Buchanan presents an alarmist call to arms on the issue of illegal immigration, though he says the problem is close to being beyond repair. Recalling the good old days--1960--when he says America had a unified culture and was a 'First World nation,' Buchanan says that immigrants no longer assimilate into the larger culture but retain loyalties to their home nation. This results in a Babel-like mix of languages, values, and allegiances. Buchanan wants to seal the borders now and begin a program of Americanization of those 'aliens' who are now here.
