I thought that I was quite capable of following a story but this book had my head swirling. Patricia Cornwell gets an A+ for the knowledge she must have acquired doing research for this book. I, however, had a difficult time finding the actual story among. the many digressions, childhood regressions, tangents, sibling jealousy and the time warp this one day story occurred in. Fitting the events involved in this story into at least 5 days would have been more realistic but into one day, not. Her main character would give Wonder Woman a run for her money. If this is the new direction Patricia is taking it's not one that I will follow her in. One star is being generous.
