Synopsis

Jess's parents want her to be a nice, conventional Indian girl. They pray she will settle down, study for law school and learn to cook the perfect chapatti. But Jess has other plans. She wants to play football like her hero, David Beckham. After all, anyone can cook aloo gobi, but who can bend it like Beckham? So when she gets talent-spotted by Jules, she grabs the chance to join the local women's team. Now she just has to keep it a secret from her family. And the fact that she's being coached by a gorgeous Irish guy called Joe. Who obviously she's not remotely interested in.
