Synopsis

Liz Carlyle, an up-and-coming counterterrorism agent for MI5 (Britain's domestic security agency), must track down an Afghani terrorist who's just sneaked into England as well as his contact, a native Brit whose nationality renders her effectively 'invisible' within the country. Liz's mission is made considerably more difficult by the competing agendas of the other government agencies attempting to capture the terrorists. This debut thriller by the first female Director General of MI5 kicks off a new series.
