This is my second book by Emma Holly. I loved Beyond Innocence. Although Emma Holly is a great writer, I couldn't get into this book. I just finished reading a Julie Garwood book that was so good and had such wonderful characters. The characters in this book paled in comparison. I don't feel like wasting more time trying to like this book, so I am putting it down and starting a new book.
