Synopsis

Two unlikely women become friends: Margaret Hughes, a 70-something woman with a brain tumor and a mansion full of priceless antiques and a resident ghost; and Wanda Schultz, her boarder, an intermittently hysterical young woman with a faithless lover and a deadbeat father. The two forge a friendship as they commit a shocking but necessary act of destruction that turns out to be just the creative jolt they need to put to rest the various ghosts that are haunting them.

I loved this book! It is very unusual and touching. A girl gets abandoned as a child and you see how it affects her whole life. It is about healing too though and her unique journey.
