Synopsis

In this poignant sports biography, famed journalist John Feinstein chronicles the 30-year collaboration between PGA golfer Tom Watson and caddy Bruce Edwards, who enjoyed a winning combination both on and off the course--until Bruce Edwards was diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. Feinstein looks back on their amazing career and the bond between the two men, as well as on how they and their friends and family responded to Edwards's diagnosis. He also chronicles the 2003 tour, and reflects on how the game of golf has changed since Edwards and Watson first teamed up in 1973.
