Ms Laurens seems to love them. This made me give up on the Cynsters ages ago. Captain Jack fits right in with them, just not quite as stupid as they. She does better with heroines except for their tolerance for said dimwitted pigs. Since she does better by her Barnaby Adair characters maybe she just despises the aristocracy. Since I tend to agree, Im not sure why I keep getting hooked by these Regency Romances. If Jack werent so horrid, the double mistaken identity plot would be pretty entertaining.
