Synopsis

The Gunpowder Chronicles continue as a woman left adrift by a dynasty in decline attempts to reclaim her family's honor… Appointed to the Court of Physicians, Jin Soling can see that the newly-crowned Emperor is cracking, relying on opium to drown his troubles.
