Pace Martin is the start pitcher for the Santa Barbara Heat. He is trying to help his team go to the World Series this season but is suffering from an injury that could be game ending. All his life he has only loved one thing and it is baseball. He doesnt know what he would do if he couldnt play. The team is getting some bad press due to rumors of the team using enhancement drugs to further their careers and Pace is trying to steer clear. Until Holly Hutchins walks into his life.Holly Hutchins is a blog reporter that does specialty news stories to get people to reveal their secrets. Her current ***ignment follow the newest sports team around and she if she can find any. As she is following the Heat she is instantly attracted to the star pitcher. Holly has had a rough past and doesnt trust anybody. She takes a risk in falling for Pace but will it still get her the story she wants?I think this story was good but not great. It was a great fun flirty romance with good writing. The only thing lacking for me was I didnt feel like I really knew the characters that well. I liked Holly and Pace together but it took them awhile for them to finally get together. It was an entertaining story and fun.I give it 3 stars.
