B.J. Clark, the manager of an old-fashioned inn in Vermont, resents the efforts of the inn's new owner, Taylor Reynolds, to modernize it, while Taylor's fascination with B.J. makes him think about abandoning his fast-paced, sophisticated lifestyle.
Let me start by saying I usually dont write reviews because I believe that you are entitled to like what you like without people judging, but after I listened to the antiquated caveman drivel I had to ask “Why Nora why!?!?!?!”I love Nora Roberts! I cannot wait until her stuff comes out. So I was flabbergasted and shocked when I listened to this story. I expect this time of mess from Danielle Steel and Sandra Brown older works yes I like both of their works both old and new, but there is a time and a place for the sometimes outdated male chauvinistic and simpering women characters in their stories. I absolutely do not expect it from Nora.Taylor is the most obnoxious male that I have ever had the displeasure to read about. BJ is a disgrace to the feminine race, I mean REALLY. He grabs her by the arm enough to hurt her. She stares up at him with puppy dog eyes as he frightens her with his masculinity!?!? WHAT!!!Please Nora, don’t do this to me ever again!
