Synopsis

Tribal police officer Daniel Bignight drives out to Navajo Lake in response to a disturbance call. There, a terrifying apparition confronts him--a dimly-seen, shrieking creature with long, spindly legs. Two men who were last seen along the lake shore are missing, and Bignight thinks the culprit is Grandmother Spider--a terrible monster out of folk myth. But police chief Charlie Moon has no time for that kind of nonsense. He's convinced the culprit is human, and it's his job to figure out who it is.
