Julia Prentice is in trouble she's pregnant with Max Rolland's child. He doesn't believe her and someones blackmailing her. Basically that's the whole plot. The book was okay, but not one I was really pleased with. Julia kept whining about Max being the father of her child and Max. Basically I found the whole idea that someone out on their own for a time is scared to let everyone know they were pregnant.
