Ok, so I regret ordering these books, and they've already sent the next 4 in the series. I love paranormal books, but this doesn't focus on the romantic relationships at all. It's very dark, and talks a lot about torture, homicide, rape. It doesn't give you a chance to get connected to the characters. All the sudden at the end of the book the female main character says I love you in the middle of a fight scene, and you're like what?! I'm one of those people that has to finish books, so I finished, but skipped a bunch of pages.
Great read. Alex is hilarious, annoying and lovable all in one. Michael oozes sex those two mae a hot couple. John keller is a pointless and boring character which I could have done without. The Kyn are very entertaining and intriguing. I'm looking forward to reading more books about them.
I really enjoyed this first book in the Darkyn series. It kept my interest through the whole thing. I even enjoyed all of the medical jargon. I can't wait to read the 2nd book in the series.
