Synopsis

In Fifty Years We'll All Be Chicks is Adam Carolla's comedic gospel of modern America. In his signature balls-out style, Carolla rips into the absurdity of the culture that made Steve Miller a rock star, demonized the peanut butter and jelly sandwich, turned the nation's bathrooms into a lawless free-for-all of urine and fecal matter, and put its citizens at the mercy of a bunch of minimum wagers with axes to grind. Peppered between complaints Carolla shares candid anecdotes from his day to day life as well as his past—Sunday football at Jimmy Kimmel's house, his attempts to raise his kids in a society that he mostly disagrees with, his big showbiz break, and much, much more. Brilliantly showcasing Adam's spot-on sense of humor, this book cements his status as a cultural commentator/comedian/complainer extraordinaire.

I know of Adam Carolla from The Howard Stern Show. Adam reads the audio book and added some stories that are not in the book. I laughed out loud, was mildly amused and was also bored. But I was not offended. It was just a comedy book. I didn't take Adam Carolla seriously. Why should I? I have no problem listening to someone else's POV. point of view. Adam by his own admission attracts A**HOLES. I don't think he's realized it might be because he is one. LOL! He had apathetic parents, found sports and was a very motivated guy who grew up in North Hollywood. Adam talks about childhood, his failures and success with suprising candor. And like anyone else who has opionions some of them stink and some of them are funny. If you are a huge Adam Carolla fan you should buy this. If you aren't offend whaa! Then have fun and borrow or rent, but I see no reason to own. By the way it does say in the title: Complaints From An Angry Middle Aged White Guy.
