Synopsis

Back in the day of cowboys and outlaws, a now-infamous shootout went down in the tiny mining town of Jubilation, Arizona. National hero, U.S. Marshall Silas Quinn, saved the city from the notorious Kelly gang, only to have his wife kidnapped and murdered by the ultimate lowlife, Jamie "the Kid" Gallagher. Or so the story goes...

One-hundred years later, historian Alison Carter has made her way to the scene of the crime to assist in a movie production of the upcoming film Quinn. Little does she know, that waiting there for her is the "the Kid's" supposed great-grandson, A.J. Gallagher, looking to put a stop to production and the defaming of his relative. As the fiercely independent Alison finds herself being swayed by the undeniably sexy A.J., she discovers that not only is her heart in danger, but someone may be after her life as well.

Okay I'll be honest I wasn't really sure I was going to like this story, but I've read Suzanne Brockmann before and really liked her so I gave it a try. It was the whole talking to a ghost thing that I thought I wouldn't like, but it was really good! By the end of the first chapter I was hooked I had to know how it ended! It had surprises in it that you didn’t see coming. Just enough romance to show how much the characters cared for each other, and so parts so full of well described action you feel like your there! If you like the “Old West” then you’ll like this book it is a good blend of Modern day with the Past. And a great Story! It has good action, suspense, and a good love story. The characters are very relatable and likable. This was a great read.
