I have 2 boys ages 5 and 7. Junie B. stories are very entertaining, but she likes to call lots of things and people 'dumb', 'stupid', 'big, fat ...', etc. It was OK for my 7 year old - he knows it's just a made-up story and we really shouldn't call people that, but after the first couple of stories, I caught my 5 year old calling his cousin some of the Junie B. phrases (even though I had had a talk with him about not using those phrases) !! That was the end of Junie B. for us for a while.....
