Synopsis

The female protagonist. One dilemma. Two optionsOne decision will change everything forever!

Kasey Laine (a physically striking woman with a sharp personality in her mid twenties) makes her way to the law firm where she works. She is lovingly greeted, as usual, by her best friend and coworker Jennifer. Later that day, Austin (a delivery man for a local carrier service) delivers a package to Campbell & Associates, Kasey's work place. He is instantly smitten by her beauty, only to be given the proverbial cold shoulder during their brief exchange.

As the day draws to an end and Kasey gets ready to leave, she gets a call from Austin. As a man who always gets what he wants, persistence proves to be one of his strong qualities. He also knows his way around sweet talking. He finally manages to convince Kasey to give him her name and to consider a dinner invitation.

While training a new hire the following day, Kasey receives a surprise package from Austin: a beautiful bouquet of carnations. Austin's gesture manages to soften Kasey up. After weighing all the pros and cons, Kasey decides the least she can do is call him and thank him for the flowers. She does and the conversation quickly turns into a date. Kasey becomes hypnotized by Austin's fast and smooth talking. Unbeknownst to her, the man that is reeling her in has a lot of hidden emotional baggage of his own. A tumultuous and violent upbringing has molded him into a hot-headed, impulsive tyrant. For the most part, Austin is able to mask this side of him with little effort. If you hit the right trigger, his violent side can unleash at a moment's notice.

A budding love affair between Austin and Kasey blossoms over the following months. Everything was fine until one day Kasey receives an unexpected text that aggravates Austin's already jealous nature. After a nearly fatal and violent episode between Austin and Kasey, she flees for her safety. After days of being haunted with a nagging suspicion, Kasey decides to do a little investigating on Austin and his past. She discovers he may not be exactly who he say he is. With this new information, Kasey decides to confront Austin. Then comes a series of twist and turns that will leave you intrigued and astonished.
