Synopsis

The story of "Little Star" was inspired by the life of a little boy who was born to a young couple in our church. He lived to be 2 years old and was loved by everyone who knew him. His father gave a beautiful account of his son's life during the memorial service for little Ben. This story came into my thoughts as I was driving home one day and by the time I reached my house, the story was almost complete. God put these thoughts in my mind to help others who have lost a child. I hope that this story will also help children to understand what a wonderful life is in store for them when they are a part of God's family. Little Star continues to live in God's light and will be there when we all meet in heaven! P.J. Patton has been married to her high school sweetheart, Doug, for 46 years. They have two sons, one of whom lives in heaven now. She has five granddaughters, and a morkiepoo "granddog" recently was added to the family. She attended Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania and worked for 10 years as a caseworker for a Community Action Agency. This book is based on a true story about a little boy who left this world too soon. She believes that God gave her the inspiration and words for this little book.
