Synopsis

My name is Chloe Isabelle Morris. I am 9 years old. I have a Calico Siamese cat named Athena. I live with my cat, and my dad, Robert. The inspiration for this book was that my mommy died, on September 27, 2016. You might know her, Julia Kalontarova, an animation artist. She worked on the movie, Frozen, and developed ideas for Elsa's cape and her ice palace. She also worked on the Wild Thornberries, which became my dad's and my favorite show. She taught me lots of things, like drawing mostly. At the age of 2, I discovered art. In my book, I made drawings and wrote my feelings about her. The poem with the flower, I wrote at an early age. The book is mainly about my friendship with my mother, and I tried to put all of my feelings about my mom's death in the art and the poetry. When I was creating it I was writing the poetry at different times. The picture on the front cover that I drew, was a present for my mother, because she had to leave my home for a long time. She drew a picture of me sleeping and placed it under my pillow. It made me cry.

This is a book of poetry written by a seven year old girl about the passing of her mother in 2016.
