Lara Adrian introduced too many characters in this book. Now we have all these other vampires training to join the Breed Warriors and I can hardly remember their names. Is she setting up new characters for future romances? I think Tegan and Elise are a good fit. Tegan needed someone grounded and strong to deal with his standoffishness. I’m pleased to see the other women of the warriors featured in the book, and not just left behind now that their romance story has wrapped up.
I wait for each new book in this series. You come to care for each Vamp/Human fighter in each book. This author is a must read for me. Her world building is good, and the action is enough to keep you interested. Romance, fighting, sigh!!! My kind of book.
