Synopsis

This action-packed work of international intrigue is the third in a series about Lord Alexander Hawke, the descendant of a pirate who cuts his own swathe through the present day as a freelance spy brokering his service to the United States and Britain. In this installment, Hawke rescues a deep-cover American agent held prisoner on a Chinese ship docked at Cannes, who holds critical intelligence of a secret pact between China and France to raise France to superpower status and to grab Oman’s oil resources for energy-hungry China.
