Synopsis

Agatha Raisin's cozy village in the Cotswolds is about to get a little less cozy. Wealthy land developer Lord Bellington upsets the town with his plan to turn the community garden into a housing estate. When Agatha finds his obituary in the newspaper, it's no surprise some people are feeling celebratory. But when the police call his death a murder and focus on the victim's son, Damian, as suspect number one, Damian hires Agatha to find the real killer. Facing a long list of suspects, Agatha gets unexpected help from a handsome, retired detective named Gerald who has recently moved to town. Yet they must work through a web of contempt to uncover the killer.
