Rent Rebecca's Promise (The Adams County Trilogy)

Loved these books so far, 3rd one is in the mail. Very first time in the dozens of Amish based books that I could identify with any of the characters. Rebecca, and her family, sounds so much like how I grew up. What I thought, and what I tried to do I loved all the details. Life is happening in the details, and these books really make that plain. Each of the characters felt very genuine, even strange Rachel, and her worries the woman who resents being poor. Yes, there are poor and rich Amish, somewhat depends on the person viewing it all, just like all humans. I hope she starts to see the things in her life that have value by the 3rd book. Her confusion, and worry, however is very human. A villain whos bad behavior makes a sad sort of sense, viewed from her perspective. I will most likely purchase these to read over and over, even though it makes me miss my family.
