Synopsis

It's finally time to say, "I do!" As long as I can keep my mom
out of jail long enough to get her to the ceremony.... Someone's Biting Mad.
Abby Knight's wedding is in less than two weeks, and everything is going wrong. The cooler in her flower shop is leaking, her neck has swollen to unnatural proportions, her groom is acting distant, and she still doesn't know where she's actually getting married!

But things go from bad to worse when the director of her favorite charity, Protecting Animal Rights, is murdered, and Abby's mother becomes the main suspect. Abby's wedding worries will have to wait until she-along with her fiance, Marco, and an adorable mutt named Seedy-can nose out who wanted the animal activist put to sleep. But they'll have to sort through the long list of suspects quickly, or her mom may be tossed in the slammer before Abby tosses the bouquet....

A murder perhaps? In cozy style of course! Cozy mysteries are a fun and easy read and I an usually finish them in a couple days. This autumn has been really busy for me with travel and a lot of distraction and unfortunately I havent had as much time for reading as I usually do. Usually when I cant read much every day I will lose interest in a story but Kate Collins new cozy from her Flower Shop series did not lose my attention even when I didnt read more than a chapter every day or two. I really loved this book and the characters were funny and seemed like real folks just trying to eke out a living in a small town where everybody seems to know everybody. I laughed and said Awwwww! a lot and even felt sad at times because of what people will do to others but the happy ending happened in a very cool way! There are wedding preparations going on in the midst of a murder investigation, cute puppies and sweet mama dogs and lots and lots of flowers! I got the book from my booksfree.com recommendations and had never read Collins books before. Even though I am way behind in the series I want to read more and I dont say that too often about books in series.
