This was an awsome new world. I read in a review and totally agree, that it's nice to read a story about beings who aren't afraid to use their unique abilities. You've got Psi and Changlings and they are secure in what they are, and Ms Singh uses these differences to move the story along. I will be looking for each new book that comes out - it was a wonderful new world and a welcome that the characters are allowed to live in the sun:) not that I don't love my vampires too! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I gave it 5 stars because I actually stayed up and read long into the night just to finish it...now I may have to read it again.
Nalini Singh has done a great job creating a new paranormal world that includes Changelings shape-shifters, Humans, and Psy. Psy have been conditioned since birth to feel no emotion. This is the story of Lucas, the Alpha of the DarkRiver leopard pack and Psy, Sascha Duncan. It was a great read and I'm looking forward to Book 2!
This is my first paranormal romance. It was very well written. I was enthralled from start to finish. I am anxious to read the next book in the series.
