Reading Slim chance by jackie rose is like watching a train wreck. But in an entertaining way. This is a chick lit book about a woman who lives a pretty happy life. Her job is ok, she has a nice boyfriend, a best friend, tends to shop a little too much, but not too badly. Then, her boyfriend proposes, and everything goes haywire. She becomes obsessed with losing enough weight to fit into the perfect size 8. A diet of starvation, too much gym yes, I can admit, there is such a thing, along with obsessive shopping that Shopaholic would admire and abandoning her friends and family� wow this woman makes a MESS of her life! I was reading going, No! Don't do that! Don't say that! Don't buy that! But she did anyway. I recommend this book.
