Synopsis

Michael Frayn was staging his now-famous play COPENHAGEN, about the 1941 meeting between Nazi scientist Werner Heisenberg and physicist Neils Bohr, when mysteriously a strange batch of letters concerning Nazi-era scientific research arrived in the playwright’s mail. Frayn is befuddled by the package, which he believes is a hoax until British officials demand the property. This memoir explains the details of this bizarre encounter between art and history.
