Synopsis

SUCH A PRETTY FACE So young, so sweet. She appeared out of nowhere, in the middle of traffic, on a busy day. A teenager with no past, no family – no memories. SUCH A LOVELY CHILD So blond and beautiful. Carol and Paul were drawn to her – she was the child they'd never had. A dream come true. Most mothers would die for such a darling little angel. And that's what frightened Carol most of all…

This book went back as fast as I could mail it. The reader does a lousy job and I refuse to listen to it. She uses an extreme theatrical voice and then an obvious low voice for the male voices...annoying.

I like Dean Koontz books, so far every one that I have read/listened too. This one was very slow starting and I gave up on it. This is the only one of hs boks that has disappointed me.
