Synopsis

To seek an open mind, unclouded by preconceived ideas, not colored by desire, and not enslaved by attachment is to be free to see things as they truly are. The search to be free of the snares of one's own mind is the search for truth. It is the search for the Tao. To see with clarity, react with peace, yield with calmness, lead without ego, and love without possessing are the gifts of the Tao. The balance of opposites and the harmony of life, the stillness of mind, and peace of spirit are children of the Tao. They are created and birthed within those who embrace the path. In the pages of the Tao Te Ching are the lessons of life; the wisdom of the ages spilling out for all, if they would learn. But, if the young or the foolish refuse the lessons, this too is the way of the Tao.
