In the third book of the Landover series, author Brooks shifts the focus slightly to a court wizard named Questor Thews. This, the third book in the series is, just, if not more exciting and interesting as the first book in this series...Wasn't too crazy about the 2nd book, The Black Unicorn. The suspense and anticipation keeps you interested until the end...without stopping to take a break. The reader Dick Hill, is the best reader I have ever heard. He expresses much excitement in his reading and the change of his voice and accent for each character is fantastic. The characters are all recognizable when he speaks with the amazing ability to be able to distinguish them one from the other. The story is GREAT and EXCITING!! You will love this series if you are interested in fantasy and wizards, elves, trolls, witches, dragons, fairies and sprites. I like this series sooo much...I went out and bought the entire series on audio with the intention of listening to it again and to share with all my avid book readers.
