Synopsis

Tara Chace is a member of the Special Section of Britains Ministry of Intelligence -- one of a handful of operatives codenamed Mindersthe people they call when the politics get particularly dirty. Its a world of questionable morals and so many shades of gray they could have their own rainbow. Taras bosses dispatch her to Kosovo assassinate a general in the Russian mafia who is selling arms and drugs to the wrong people. Unfortunately for her, once someone has taken the life of one of a Russian mafia officer, the Russians invariably attempt fatal revenge. Noted novelist Greg Rucka (Critical Space) peels back the lid on the traditional espionage story to see the nastiness inside. "Queen and Country" is a spy comic unlike any other, sidestepping the clichs normally associated with the genre in favor of the sort of dirty dealing that keeps the world turning.
