Synopsis

When Detective Gene Statton of The Volunteer, and his bride, Jenny, buy the old homestead on the Red Creek Road that used to belong to Gene's family, they make a startling discovery. While renovating the house, Gene finds a letter hidden under the old woodwork that will forever change their lives. The words, 'He didn't have an accident, he was murdered,' start them on a great adventure as they try to discover who was murdered and why. Threats and intimidation follow, putting their lives at risk. Gene and Jenny are determined to solve the mystery no matter what the cost.
