Synopsis
Shapeshifters from across the country are convening in the Windy City, and as a gesture of peace, Master Vampire Ethan Sullivan has offered their leader a very special bodyguard: Merit, Chicago's newest vampire. Despite the title, this seems to be book 3 of the series and keeps referring to characters I dont know. I ***ume they were important in book 1 or 2. This is why I woudnt read series books for years. Retelling the backstory is boring for those who managed to start reading with book 1, but not doing so leaves folks like me lost. Cant decide whether to soldier on or just skip this series.
