In an attempt to promote literacy and to encourage students, the American Heritage school recently donated a total of 2,700 books to a Miami Elementary school. The American Heritage students were directly involved in the donations, visiting the elementary school and handing out the books to each class. Both schools were touched and encouraged by the event.
