Within the first 100 pages, I hit gods & goddesses as characters. A definite turn off that has ruined several fantasy series for me. Im done with this one,too. Too much good fantasy out there to waste time with something I find objectionable. When Kenyon & Love are good, theyre very good, but thats not happening here for me.
