J. R. Ward knows how to write a really good series. V and Jane are great together. Get ready for another roller-coaster ride that will make you laugh, cry, get mad, be surprised, and break your heart. Just all around another great installment to the series. Now I can't wait for Phury! Lover Enshrined April 1,2008

The Unbound in the title relates to the sexual 'bondage' going on in more than one relationship. The sex took a bit of a kinky turn in this one. A bit of bi-sexuality, too; but she gave us glimpses of that in the previous book, so it wasn't as jarring to me as the S&M stuff. Still, we've come to love these characters, so we forgive lots of sins. I did, anyway.

After reading some of the reviews posted here I started this book prepared to be disappointed. I wasn't. It was a very good read. If people are shocked and alarmed by the extremely mild bondage references, they must have grown up in the Victorian Age. In fact, I was hoping for something a bit juicier than what was delivered, but, all in all I like the book.

I can't say enough about this series. All of the brothers had such troubled pasts and terrible lives before they joined the Brotherhood. I find it fascinating that each one has troubles, whether its drug, alcohol, sex, anger issues, but we still love them and care about them as they try to overcome. I love the Butch and Viscious bro-mance relationship. They are intimate, like a union, just without the sex. The ending however… ugh! I wanted to scream.
