Kathy McKenna has moved to the small town of Oak Hill to escape the paranormal things going on in the large cities. She opens a small bookstore and the fun begins. Her first customer is the most gorgeous man she's ever seen, but he's a vampire. Sex pours off of Raphael Cordova. In his eighty years he's become the head of the vamps of Oak Hill. Kathy can't resist him. Raphael isn't your ordinary vampire, he and his twin brother were born vampires. He's the son of Vincent Cordova and Cara DeLongpre. I have to admit it was hard for me to get into this book. Mainly because it's in first person. But after I got through that, I really enjoyed the story. Sex pored off of Raphael, just like it did his grandfather in Night's Kiss. Ms. Ashley had very important concept that Raphael and his twin were born normal, but turned vamp. I loved this, it makes Kathy's dream possible. I love Amanda Ashley and this one is good.
